Violette AC dominated SV Broki by securing a 2-1 victory during the third matchday of the Concacaf Caribbean Cup 2026, thus ensuring their qualification for the semifinals.

This Wednesday evening, the Old Tigers got the better of SV Broki in a very open encounter, despite a few small errors made by Rony Attimy’s players; this did not however hinder their demonstration of superiority against the Surinamese.

At the 58th minute, Micheneider Chery seized the opportunity offered by an error from a defensive player of SV Broki to take the ball with vigor and propel it into Broki’s goal, thus launching the match (1-0).

The magician of Violette AC, Rony Attimy, once again promptly made changes to energize the attack and consolidate the midfield. And Roberto Jean, who came on as a substitute, perfectly delivered a service to Maxime Jeanty, who came off the bench at the end of the match, in the active zone for the second goal (2-0) at the 90’+3 following a masterful clearance by Gouly Elien. In the final moments of the match at the 90’+5, Stein scored for the home team to make it 2-1.

Moreover, the Old Tigers maintain their invincibility in this tournament, having won their three matches with six goals scored and only one conceded. This victory allowed Violette AC to qualify for the semifinals and strengthen their position as leaders of Group A.

Now, Rony Attimy’s men await Club Sando FC on Tuesday, September 15 during the fourth and final matchday of the group stage, in order to preserve their position as leaders, since these two teams have already secured their qualification for the semifinals.
