Le Violette AC defeated Club Sando FC 1-0 this Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Estadio Cibao FC in Santiago de los Caballeros, during the fourth and final matchday of the group stage of the Caribbean Cup Concacaf 2026. Jean Jules Mikenlove scored the only goal of the match.
With this fourth victory in four matches, the Old Tigers finish first in Group A with 12 points, seven goals scored and only one conceded. Le Violette AC becomes the first Haitian club to finish top of a group in the Caribbean Cup, and only the second club in the history of the competition to win its four group matches, after Mount Pleasant FA in 2025.
The path: 3-0 against Defence Force FC (August 4), 1-0 at Delfines del Este FC (August 19), 2-1 at SV Broki (September 9) and 1-0 against Club Sando FC (September 15).
The club is qualified for the semi-finals, which will be played over two legs: from October 13 to 15 and from October 20 to 22, 2026. The opponent is Portmore United FC (Jamaica), second in Group B: first leg in Jamaica, second leg in the Dominican Republic.
